Pubs and Motorcycles #1

We have had a difficult year, like everyone else, but we have used the time to

make sure that both The Sailmakers Arms and the Ye Olde Black Boy, are

ready to open as soon as possible.

The Sailmakers Arms will open on the 12th of April, for customers to sit outside, hopefully in sunshine. We have most of the courtyard covered with heaters and new outside furniture.

The only thing missing is customers, it feels strange having an empty pub, but with a bit of luck it won’t be long now, before we are full and enjoying the world getting back to normal.

The Ye Olde Black Boy

unfortunately will not be able to open until the 19th of May. The lack of an outside area on the ground floor makes it impossible under the

regulations to open in April. When May the 17th arrives the Black Boy will be open, downstairs. We have erected a train set which goes around the ceiling in the back bar.

We hope to raise a lot of

money for Cancer Research UK with it. It will cost 50p to make the train travel around the ceiling and all monies will go to charity.
